Effective teachers of mathematics know the pedagogy that determines how their students successfully learn. Such teachers recognize that in order for students to effectively use mathematics they need to understand the concepts presented as well as become fluent with the skill taught. They possess essential math teacher skills such as passion, clear communication, patience, adaptability, organizational skills, accessibility, continuous learning, and the ability to foster collaborative learning—collectively creating an environment where students can thrive in their mathematical journey. Various subjects can be taught, but math requires an effective and efficient teaching style. Becoming a great math teacher is not everyone's cup of tea. The qualities of a great math teacher include effective communication, collaboration, listening, empathy, adaptability, and patience. Some qualities of a good teacher include skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience. Other characteristics of effective teaching include an engaging classroom presence, value in real-world learning, exchange of best practices and a lifelong love of learning. Teaching methods of mathematics include lecture, inductive, deductive, heuristic or discovery, analytic, synthetic, problem solving, laboratory and project methods. Teachers may adopt any method according to the specific unit of syllabus, available resources and number of students in a class. As students engage in a task for which the solution is not immediately obvious, they ask questions, explore ideas and alternatives, evaluate ideas and actions and take more responsibility for their learning. Being literate. Expressing ideas clearly and accurately. Math teachers instruct students and create lesson plans, assign incorrect homework, and manage the classroom. They communicate with parents and, if necessary, will refer a student or pupil to seek outside help including a tutor. Some of the essential teaching skills are objective formations, introduction of lesson, questioning, probing questions, reinforcement, explaining, illustration with example, blackboard utilization, stimulus variation, classroom managements and closure. Professional skills or soft skills include your habits, characteristics and abilities to perform well and succeed at work and may benefit you, your employer and your colleagues. Some examples of professional skills include leadership, emotional intelligence, organization, flexibility, communication and self-motivation. Math helps strengthen reasoning skills and critical thinking. It helps us think analytically about the world and reason logically. The same steps you take to understand a problem, identify the knows and unknowns and then solve it, can be applied to other areas of your life. Hard skills, or technical skills, are learned through education or hands-on experience. These are concrete, measurable abilities that are often specific to a job. You can demonstrate your proficiency in hard skills through relevant certifications, portfolios, skill assessment tests, and completed work. Skills are learned or improved traits people use to perform tasks or maintain positive, working relationships with others. Soft skills, also known as professional skills, are competencies and abilities associated with your personality and help build a good dynamic with others. The method or methods used in any particular context are largely determined by the objectives that the relevant educational system is trying to achieve. Developing logical and problem-solving ability in children is the main objective of teaching Math, according to NCF 2005 as the development of children's abilities for mathematization is the main goal of mathematics education that means the child's thought process should be mathematized. The content of the mathematics standards is intended to support the following five goals for students: becoming mathematical problem solvers, communicating mathematically, reasoning mathematically, making mathematical connections, and using mathematical representations to model and interpret practical situations. There are mainly ten values in learning mathematics. They are practical value, intellectual value, social value, moral values, disciplinary values, cultural values, international values, aesthetic values, vocational values and psychological values. Also we learned the correlation of mathematics. There are two types of objectives of teaching: general and specific.
