the article is devoted to a review of modern methods and approaches to teaching English. Language is the main tool of communication in the modern world, so its study is becoming increasingly relevant. The article discusses various teaching methods, including communicative, project-based, intercultural approaches, the use of information technology and gamification. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach are also analyzed, as well as the possibilities of combining them to achieve the best learning results.
